The Alexander Bodini Foundation, along with UNICEF, awards two grants - the San Marino Awards - to support youth-led organizations that promote child rights and contribute to meaningful participation of children and young people in matters that affect their well-being. UNICEF Indonesia received over 50 proposals, and recommended three for consideration to the Foundation. Streetizens was selected as one of the two global recipients for the 2017 San Marino Award fund.
Together with UNICEF, Streetizens aims to empower Indonesian children and youths by equipping them with cognitive, emotional, and social intelligence through various activities and lessons. We designed our own modules in order to address the specific needs of children at Pulogadung and Muara Baru with hopes that most of these children will be able to integrate into formal education by the end of 2018.
